Carte blanche/ Institut Français d’ Athènes
Aria Boumpaki has the white card, visits various spaces of the French Institute and opens ‘windows’ to two horizons of her creative path.
The first window opens at Auditorium Theo Angelopoulos where through video documentaries, we watch what happened in an old garage in the centre of Athens, where the "dance meetings" project was born.
At the same time, her performance in the cafe of the French Institute reflects the last step of the same project that turns to the public space, the streets of Piraeus and the body of the passers-by.
The research began in 2017 at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, with the support of the French Institute.
